Outreach to patients through these outlets – particularly organizations that are seen as trusted resources for those living with or affected by a condition – can bring validity and awareness to clinical research. The Praxis outreach process is always tailored to the unique needs of each patient population and trial design. Our in-house outreach department seeks to understand the patient journey, including diagnosis and disease management, when developing an outreach strategy. This includes identifying organizations that a patient and/or a caregiver may interact with and how likely they are to rely on these trusted groups. We then evaluate if there are ways to partner with these organizations to share information about the trial with potential patients within a given group’s network.

We connect with an organization to determine if clinical trial awareness aligns with the mission of the group. If so, we request instruction about how we can disseminate information to its members. While each organization’s mission, structure, and communication opportunities are unique, we typically share information at a national or geo-targeted level through the following media:
