Our goal for this study was to randomize 3,700 pre-menopausal women at 200 sites across North America. Challenges included finding qualifying patients who were in a stable, monogamous, heterosexual relationship for at least one year, using birth control, and willing to complete a daily diary for the eight-month trial period.
The recruitment program included brochures, posters, and a website. The campaign garnered more than 11,000 pre-qualified candidates – with more than 44% of patients being direct Praxis referrals. Our efforts shaved 36 weeks off the enrollment timeframe and delivered an $8 million return on investment to the sponsor.
