When charged with recruitment for this study on hypoactive sexual desire disorder, we knew we were dealing with a sensitive topic. The study’s goal was to randomize 3,500 patients across 137 sites. Our target audience was women between 30 and 69 who were either surgically or naturally post-menopausal.
We developed a campaign consisting of a brochure, website, posters, reminder stickers, and physician letter. Despite a shortened timeframe, we delivered more than 14,000 inquiries to the centralized recruitment center. The website saw 78,000 unique visitors, and 4,700 pre-qualified candidates were delivered to study sites. In the end, 49% of all subjects screened and 30% of subjects randomized were Praxis referrals.
