Marketing Strategist.

Praxis is seeking a Marketing Strategist to support the execution and management of requests for proposal (RFPs) via the business development department. The Marketing Strategist assists with all aspects of proposal coordination and strategy development for Praxis patient recruitment and retention services.

Responsibilities.

  • Lead strategy development in response to RFPs from sponsors (typically pharmaceutical/biotech companies), in coordination with the business development representative(s)
  • Coordinate internal efforts to secure the information needed from project management, site relations, creative, media, analytics, public relations, and digital staff to prepare proposals for services
  • Research and write comprehensive disease and protocol overview sheets for proposal strategy as needed
  • Research, write, and edit comprehensive proposals and bid defense presentations
  • Define scope of services and prepare budgets for proposal pricing
  • Participate in client bid defense meetings
  • Lead conversion meetings for new studies with business development and project management teams
  • Assist in preparation of change order estimates for existing studies
  • Actively contribute to long-term strategy development for key accounts
  • Participate in annual strategic planning activities
  • Contribute to special projects related to business development and/or strategy department objectives
  • Research and write comprehensive disease and protocol overview sheets and/or conduct protocol analysis for proposal strategy
  • Contribute to content strategy and write articles for the Praxis blog
  • Monitor industry news, trends, and competitive landscape

Qualifications.

  • Four-year college degree
  • Three to five years of related work experience (marketing, advertising, healthcare, business development)
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Drive required; knowledge of Salesforce a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative environment
  • Available to travel as needed
