Praxis Wins Two Awards For Creative Excellence
Brentwood, TN -- Praxis, a company specializing in centralized patient recruitment for clinical research studies has won two prestigious creative awards from two different competitions for its “Clinical Research Rock Star” album campaign.
The “Researchers” albums 1 and 2 direct mail campaign won an Award of Excellence in the 20th Annual RX Club Show, which honors the top healthcare advertising from around the world. In addition, the campaign also won an award in the 2006 Global Awards competition in the consumer direct mail category.
The album campaign consisted of a series of four record albums featuring an imaginary group, The Researchers, who were produced by Praxis. The designs were based on classic rock albums of the 60s, 70s and 80s and included song titles such as: “rocking enrolling” and “my, my got a big ROI” aimed at the target audience of clinical research managers. To carry out the nostalgia theme, the albums contained a wall poster or printed guitar pick inside along with a simulated vinyl record. “These two awards are evidence of both the innovation and high level of creative excellence that we strive for. This campaign was a tremendous success and has generated strong awareness for Praxis,” said David Fox, president and CEO of Praxis. “Many of our clients have personally commented on the albums. I received numerous emails and phone calls from people saying they really enjoyed getting the albums and keep them coming. We even got calls from people who are not our clients requesting copies. The albums were very unique and I’m sure they brought back some fond memories for many people, as well as delivering the main message that Praxis can make you a clinical research ‘rock star’.”
The RX Club Show Awards honor the best in print, electronic, and video in the service of healthcare and is in its 20th year. The Global Awards are the world’s largest and most coveted healthcare communications awards dedicated to the recognition of excellence on an international basis.
