Praxis Launches a Patient Recruitment Campaign for An Infant Vaccine for Bacterial Meningitis
Brentwood, TN -- Jan. 6, 2006 -- Praxis, a company specializing in centralized patient recruitment for clinical research studies, is providing services to a major pharmaceutical company for a medical research study taking place in about 80 cities across the United States. The recruitment period will last six months and will aid sites in enrolling 3,000 infants age 6-12 weeks of age. The purpose of this Phase III study is to determine if an investigational vaccine is safe and effective in protecting infants against an additional bacteria that causes serious infections, such as meningitis.
Praxis is providing a variety of patient recruitment services for this clinical research study, including study branding, patient education materials, website development, outreach to local clinics and health department, and public relations initiatives to reach parents of infants. Materials will be developed in both English and Spanish.
