Rheumatoid Arthritis

Recruitment for this study was a unique situation. 2.1 million people in the U.S. have rheumatoid arthritis. Most are aware of their condition, and treat it through methods that include medication, therapy, and surgery. So, to attract those who were well aware of the effects of RA, we decided to take a different strategy – empower them. We asked them to fight back against their condition, and enticed them further with an x-ray of a raised fist.
